Terms of use

The rules for using this website, what the content on it is and is not, and which document governs an actual engagement.

Last updated 15 August 2026

These terms apply to this website. By using it you accept them; if you do not, please stop using the site. They are written to be short and readable, and they say what they mean.

They are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Where they refer to electronic records and communications, the Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree 39/2025) applies; where they refer to misuse of the site, so does the Cyber Crime Law (Royal Decree 12/2011).

  1. Who we are

Baseerah is an automation, ERP and CRM consultancy based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. "We", "us" and "our" mean Baseerah; "you" means anyone using this site. You can reach us at support@baseerah.co.

  2. Using this site

You may read this site, print or save pages for your own use, and share links to it. What you may not do is short, and none of it will surprise you.

    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any account or system connected to it.
    • Interfere with the site's operation, including by overloading it, probing it for weaknesses without our written permission, or introducing malicious code.
    • Scrape or copy the content systematically in order to republish it or to train a product on it as though it were yours.
    • Use the forms to send unlawful, misleading, defamatory or abusive content, or anyone else's personal data without their consent.
    • Present yourself as us, or imply an association, endorsement or partnership with Baseerah that does not exist.

If you find a security problem, we would much rather hear about it than not. Write to us with what you found and how to reproduce it; we will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and does not exploit it, access other people's data, or make it public before it is fixed.

  3. What the content here is not

Everything on this site, including the posts under Field notes, is general information about how we work and what we see in the market. It is not legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your own situation from someone who knows it.

Some of what we write concerns regulation that moves — e-invoicing timelines, tax filing mechanics, data protection obligations. We date every post and cite our sources, and we correct posts when the facts change, but you should verify anything you intend to act on against the relevant authority's own material. We are not liable for decisions taken on the strength of a Field notes post.

  4. Our content, and other people's marks

The text, design, code and original graphics on this site belong to Baseerah, unless stated otherwise on the page. You may quote a reasonable extract with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own.

    • Client names and logos appear with permission and remain the property of those companies. Their appearance is not an endorsement of anything beyond the work we did with them.
    • Technology logos — the platforms and products we integrate with — are the trademarks of their owners, used to identify those products and no more. The marks in this site's technology sections come from the Devicon (MIT) and Simple Icons (CC0) icon sets.
    • Photographs in Field notes are licensed from Unsplash and credited to the photographer on the post that uses them.
  5. Enquiries, quotations and engagements

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of our services, timelines or approach are illustrative; they do not commit us to a price, a scope or a date.

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or a professional relationship, and it does not oblige either of us to go further. Work begins only under a written engagement — a proposal or statement of work signed by both sides — which sets out scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, confidentiality, intellectual property and everything else that matters. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Please do not send confidential information through the contact form. Tell us the shape of the problem; we will put an agreement in place before you send us anything sensitive.

  6. Job applications

Applying through this site does not create an employment relationship, an offer, or an obligation on us to fill a role we have listed. Roles can be withdrawn or changed, and we may hire nobody.

Your CV and the details you send are handled as described in the privacy notice: read by the people hiring, kept for the period stated there, and deleted when you ask. If you send us an unsolicited idea, sample or piece of work, please only send what you are free to share — we cannot treat unsolicited material as confidential.

  7. Availability and changes

We work to keep this site available and accurate, but it is provided as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, move or remove content — including posts and listed roles — without notice. Where a post is materially corrected, we say so on the post.

  8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Omani law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its general content, including lost profit, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Liability for work we actually perform is dealt with in the engagement agreement for that work, not here.

  9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes arising from them or from use of this site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Muscat.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply.

  10. Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top of the page is the version in force, and using the site after that date means the current version applies to you.

  11. Contact
